Opening Prayer for Lenten Study (1 minute)
Lord God Almighty, shaper and ruler of all creatures, we pray for your great mercy, that you guide us towards you, for we cannot find our way by ourselves.
Teach us to do your will, that we may love you before all things with a pure mind. For you are our maker and our redeemer, our help, our comfort, our trust, our hope; praise and glory be to you now and forever. Amen!Video Lesson Introduction from Rev. William Chaney (5-7 minutes)

Closing Prayer for Lent by a group member (1 minute)
O Lord Jesus Christ, by your almighty power you opened the eyes of the blind, and showed yourself to them. Turn our eyes away from worthless things, and lead us to love you and love all with your love. Through your mercy, make us more like you. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
Bonus Questions from Week of March 27 (Relationships with our Community)
How did we get here? - What first brought you to our congregation/community and why do you stay?
What do we hope for? - Think about the world you are leaving for your loved ones and community. Describe the future you want to see. What does it look like, feel like, taste like, sound like, smell like?
What do we need? - problems or challenges are directly and negatively impacting you? (e.g., I cannot pay rent; my income doesn’t sustain my family; my son is in prison instead of getting the help he needs; I have a health issue that my insurance won’t resolve; I witness human suffering daily… etc.).
What do we have? What is your greatest source of hope right now?
